What to expect

Beginning at the Sandy Lane car park, you’ll be lead across the vast and vibrant landscape of Braunton Burrows to find some of the interesting ponds and the life found there. Your knowledgeable guides, Jamie Buxton-Gould & Evie Giblett will unveil the surprises of this dynamic ecosystem, sharing insights into the diverse flora and fauna that call the dunes home. Keep your eyes peeled for rare species such as the elusive adder or sand lizards, which thrive in this special habitat.

Whether you’re a seasoned nature enthusiast or simply seeking solace in the beauty of the natural world, this Braunton Burrows walk promises an insightful experience amidst the dunes and ponds of Braunton Burrows.

Parking £2.50 per car.

Please bring with you waterproof layer and sensible walking clothes and shoes/boots. Wear sun protection and bring a drink and snack with you too.
